About Us

  • Welcome to Kafakumba Clinic, a private Christ-centered, HPCZ-approved (Health Professions Council of Zambia) clinic seeking to improve the level of healthcare to international standards for those in the Copperbelt of Zambia.

The clinic opened our doors in 2022, but Kafakumba as a ministry has been in Zambia since 1999 and prior to that in DR Congo for over 50 years!  Kafakumba was started by missionaries - the Ken and Lorraine Enright family - and continues to have many of the 2nd and 3rd generation involved in the outreach, as well as many others who have caught the vision!

The clinic is currently offering primarily outpatient services, but our goal is to expand to include maternity, emergency and surgical services in 2024.  We are funded largely by donations from generous international donors, but receive some income from the minimal charges to local patients.

Our commitment is to provide excellent, Christ-centered care to every patient.

  • The Kafakumba Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  The clinic plays a vital role in that mission as follows:

    Clinic Vision Statement

Skilled and dedicated people delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that improves lives

and communities. Every person. Every time.
